About US

RJC Builders was formed with the intention of producing unique structures representing the work of outstanding Los Angeles architects and designers. Founded in 1988 by John Cordic, the work of RJC Builders has been featured in Architectural Digest and Michael Webb’s Brave New Houses: Adventures in Southern California Living (Rizzoli, 2003). L. A. Architecture characterized John as the “architect’s builder” in 2004. Renowned architects and artists with whom the company has worked include Richard Meier & Partners, Rafael Legoretta, James Turrell, and Robert Graham.

RJC Builders specializes in projects that range in size between three and eight thousand square feet, with costs that range from three to five hundred dollars per square foot. John personally oversees each project—a major reason that RJC Builders has not experienced disputes, claims, or litigation.

All members of the staff graduated from Southern California Institute of Architecture. John is president of the company and a licensed architect and contractor. The project manager, Lloyd Parrish, is also a licensed architect. James Miller, the superintendent, has worked in the construction industry for over twenty years. In addition, the company has a cadre of devoted specialty trades-people who contribute their finely honed talents to each project.
